A LITTLE NOON MUSIC - Brown
bag chamber music series. What
better way to celebrate summer, as well as the end of a work week, than
treating yourself to some soothing and entertaining chamber music? BCAH
partners with Chamber Ensemble con Grazia to present this series of
FREE lunchtime concerts for your enjoyment. You won't want to miss this
special opportunity to experience a different mix of professional musicians
and musical selections at each of these four offerings. So pack up your
lunch and join us for a well earned break in your day!

SUMMER SUNDAYS at the BRUNNER FARMHOUSE - This
summer's favorite arts series offers fun for the whole family with carnival
games, art activities, and face painting beginning at 4 PM followed
by a different concert on each scheduled Sunday at 6 PM. Come prepared
for the weather and outdoor activities ... bring sunscreen, lawn chairs,
blankets. Concessions (ice cream, snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn,
soft drinks, and more) will be available for purchase.
Today's Final Concert features: Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra - BIG BAND
MUSIC
When: Carnival games and activities 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. / Concert

Broomfield Fine Arts Festival
- Vocal Division Registration Deadline.
Complete registration information available at the Broomfield
Music Teachers Association web site at www.bmta.org
or by calling Christina Lynn-Craig at 303-466-2879. Auditions are open
to singers age 12-18 as of October 29, 2010.
Voice students may choose to participate in the competitive division
or in an "evaluation only" category. Following the auditions,
ALL singers will participate in a series of three short recitals, after
which the winners of each division will be announced. These recitals
will be FREE and open to the public. (Donations gratefully accepted!)
Judges for the auditions will be Professor Patti Peterson from CU-Boulder
and Mary Louise Burke, Assistant Conductor of the Colorado Children's
Chorale and the Colorado Symphony Chorus.
When: Auditions will be held on OCTOBER 30, 2010
Singers age 12-14; 1:30 p.m.-2:15 p.m.
Singers age 15-16; 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

Broomfield Fine Arts Festival
- Vocal Division MASTER CLASS
A FREE Vocal Master Class will be held on September 25 at the
Church of the Holy Comforter. Master Class teacher for this event will
be Julie Simson, a vocal professor at CU-Boulder. Accompanist will be
Nicole Meske London, a former first place winner of both the piano and
voice festivals here in Broomfield. Singers will be selected from among
those participating in the October auditions. Those who observe will
learn by watching Professor Simson work with these students. Singers
of all ages and those who work with singers will benefit from attending
this fun event. So whether you sing in your church choir, are planning
to audition for an upcoming musical in a community theater group, or
even if you just sing in the shower, please join us. There will be a
question and answer period, and some audience participation opportunities,
as well.
