Mountain Brassworks proudly brings to life beautiful brass interpretations
of old and new Celtic tunes. Joined on stage by artists from Centennial
State Pipes and Drums, expect a powerful and moving brass and bagpipe
performance! March 6, 2010 (Saturday) The
Broomfield Music Teachers' Association (BMTA) presents
the 33rd Annual Broomfield Fine Arts Festival (originally
known as the Broomfield Piano Festival). A
full day of musical excellence will culminate in the evening event at
the Broomfield Auditorium with a concert and awards.

registration required for participants. March 11, 2010 (Thursday) SPECIAL
PRESENTATION - SONG OF THE EARTH! Science,
Sights &Sounds returns
with a FREE production by award-winning
actor Frank Oden and the Broomfield Civic Orchestra in a breathtaking
performance that merges lyrical humor and verbal acrobatics with stunning
visual images and evocative orchestral music to explore the awesome
grandeur, subtle beauty, and delightful joys of our little blue planet
... as well as the significance of ecological balance, harmony, and
sustainability. March 12 and 13, 2010 (Friday & Saturday) Annual
Student Art Show and Reception. Local students (elementary
through high school) are chosen by their school art teachers to display
a wide variety of art pieces. This annual event truly showcases the
artistic talent of Broomfield's students. The opening reception on Friday
evening will also feature live piano performances by Broomfield student
musicians. Refreshements will be served. March 14, 2010 (Sunday) Broomfield
Civic Orchestra - Three Overtures. Portions
of these Overtures will be heard during the Song of the Earth program
on March 11. Come to this concert and hear these marvelous masterworks
performed in their entirety! March 26 and 27, 2010 (Friday & Saturday) Colorado
Repertory Singers present Reel Music! CRS
is celebrating Spring with a concert of music hits from the movies.
Whether it's Chariots of Fire, Circle of Life, Schindler's List, Breakfast
at Tiffany's, A Summer Place, or Mary Poppins, you'll smell the popcorn
and yearn for the goobers as you are transported to a world of movie
