Description

The Broomfield Symphony Orchestra presents the first of two opportunities to attend its final presentation of the 2011-2012 Season, Young at Heart, Rock and Pops.  The concert will feature the two winners of our Youth Concerto Competition: Violinist, Forest-Amber Borealis, in the first movement of Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4, and Violinist, Natalie Hodges, in the first movement of the Saint-SaĆ«ns Third Violin Concerto.  The program also includes classics of Rock, Jazz, and Blues by Mick Jagger, Prince, the Beach Boys, Duke Ellington, Jimi Hendrix, and the B-52s, all conducted by Broomfield Symphony Music Director, David Brussel.  Ticket prices range from $6 to $15.

If you are unable to attend this evening's performance, please make note of an encore presentation of this program on Saturday, May 19, at 3:00 p.m. in the Broomfield Auditorium.
