History of BCAH

The Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities is a registered, non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the fine arts in Broomfield, Colorado. We are a local incubator for entrepreneurs of all forms of creative expression. BCAH is comprised of volunteers assisting volunteers in their pursuit of performance and presentation in arts, culture, or science in all mediums to all ages. Since our inception in 1973 by dedicated local leaders, BCAH has relied upon community support in the form of individual, family, and corporate memberships. Please join us, and keep the arts alive in Broomfield!

The BCAH Board of Directors is comprised of 9-12 volunteers from the community, elected by the general membership. In addition, representatives from our member Arts Organizations provide input and support for the operations and policies of BCAH. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at the historic Brunner Farmhouse (640 Main Street) from August through May, with the exception of December. All meetings are open to the public.
