This year marks the 16th season of the Broomfield Summer Youth Players (BSYP). This summer BSYP will create an original show based on new and traditional clown and vaudeville sketches. Nouveau vaudeville, if you will.
We are looking for actors for this production!
The 2013 show will be titled "Madness and Mayhem."
We are proud that all aspects of this program are organized and staffed by students with the generous support and guidance of our Theatrical Supervisor Sondra Blanchard, parents, members of the Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities, and the staff of the City & County of Broomfield’s Cultural Affairs Division.
Student leaders (Director, Stage Manager, Light/Sound Tech, Costumer, Set/Prop Tech) will receive a small stipend. Involvement is for Broomfield-area students in 6-12 grades. The participation cost of the program is $125.00 (checks made payable to BCAH) and includes daily training with a theater professional.
Students will either be selected for an onstage role, become an integral member of the production crew, or in some cases, both.

Rehearsal Schedule: July 22nd-July 31st from 9:00am-12:30pm at Broomfield United Methodist Church 545 West 10th Ave., Broomfield, CO 80020
Tech rehearsal Schedule: August 1st and 2nd from 9:00am-2:00pm at the Legacy High School auditorium, 2701 West 136th Ave., Broomfield, CO 80023
Performance Schedule: August 2nd and 3rd at 8:00pm at the Legacy High School auditorium, 2701 West 136th Ave., Broomfield, CO 80023. Call time is at 7pm.
