In-kind donations are contributions of goods or services rather than money (or cash). The rule of thumb contends that any item or service an organization would have to go out and purchase on its own for the implementation of its program or project qualifies as an in-kind donation. Each program or project, including BCAH general operations, has unique needs for these types of valuable gifts. We urge you to contact the BCAH Office Manager or individual program or project coordinators to discover what specific in-kind donations are most needed. Or if you have an item or a service you wish to contribute, we will try to match you up with a program or project in need.
Please note, BCAH, as a 501c3 non-profit, is only allowed to issue a tax deductible receipt for your in-kind donation based on what the item or service cost to you, not fair market value. |
